 With guru maharaj kirpa we have started with NAAM GATKA AKHARA Classes jointly with ........................  Gatka is the martial art of the Sikhs. It's a weapons-based martial art, which was imparted to the Sikhs in the time of Guru Hargobind Ji (the sixth Guru of the Sikhs) in the 16th century. The techniques involved are extremely effective for defense and attack as well as visually spectacular. The Sikhs mastered Gatka and perfected its use in battle. Many battles were won by the Sikhs, despite almost always numbering far fewer than the opposite forces. The techniques within Gatka were combined with the spiritual practices of the Sikhs to create a perfect fighting system. Gatka is conducted by Vir Harvinder singh on every Saturday  from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Currently there is about 15-20 students undergoing the Gatka training session.
